Dear President Biden,
I am a husband to a remarkable wife and father of two beautiful girls, ages eight and eleven.
I write today to thank you for being the guiding light in my life and the lives of my family for so many years, especially during these dark times of Trump.
You have suffered so much in your life, and yet you have persevered time and time again. With the death of your first wife and child and then the loss of your son later in your life, one might believe more than any reasonable man to shoulder. But not you, Joe. You have taught us how to persevere.
You have made more impact on me and my family than any other president of my lifetime. I'm 55 years old. What you have accomplished legislatively will build a better future for my children as they grow up. What you have done with NATO has made our world much safer.
Seeing you in tears when you received the Medal of Freedom from Barack solidified my opinion that you are a man above men, dedicated to the service of others. The greatest pursuit, in my opinion.
You are beloved in this country, and hearing that you may step down for the good of the country and hand off your amazing work to Kamala gives me chills.
I am so excited to see you speak at the DNC, no longer as the presumptive nominee but as the elder statesman who is so beloved that the country will do anything to rally around you and Kamala.
Thank you for being the light in the dark for so many of us as we wade through these treacherous waters.
I've got your back, Joe, and won't let you down. We are going to win behind Kamala, and win big!
Like so many others, an anonymous patriot and American
We love you, Joe!
